Privacy Policy

When you send a message or a trip enquiry, we collect only what you give us: your name, email address, optional phone number, and the travel preferences you share. We use this to reply to you, to plan your journey, and to stay in touch about it.

We do not sell your details. We share them only with the hotels, guides and transport partners needed to deliver a journey you have asked us to plan, and only the parts they need.

We keep enquiry details for as long as they are useful for planning and for a reasonable time afterwards. You can ask to see, correct or delete your information at any time through our contact page.

This site may use basic cookies or analytics to understand which pages are useful. You can block cookies in your browser without affecting your ability to enquire.

Terms of Service

Content on this website is for general information. An enquiry or a draft itinerary is not a booking; a journey is confirmed only when we have agreed the details, price and payment terms with you in writing.

Itineraries depend on the availability of stays, guides and transport and on conditions at the destination. If something changes, we will propose the closest suitable alternative and talk it through with you.

Prices, inclusions and cancellation terms are set out in your written proposal. There are no hidden markups, and we explain what each part of a journey costs.

The text, photographs and design of this site belong to Routes 2 Escape or are used with permission. Please ask before reusing them.

Editorial Standards

The Journal is written from first-hand experience. When we describe a place, a stay or a guide, it is because we have been there or work closely with people who live there.

We do not accept payment for recommendations. If a partner ever hosts us, we will say so plainly.

We aim to be accurate about seasons, distances and practicalities, and to be honest about trade-offs. If you spot an error or something out of date, please tell us and we will correct it.
